Many women have undergone liposuction to enhance their body shape. Some of them have had successful liposuction in the past and not just once, but for many times. This is not because the surgery is not well-performed but because they have not achieved the hourglass body that they want. Some patients have significant weight gain particularly in the areas that have undergone liposuction. If you are one of them, you might try the revision liposuction to eliminate the fat as much as possible to attain better results. However, there is a little amount of fat that can be removed from a surgical operation even though it can be removed safely. Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure. It is a surgical technique which removes the excess fats in the areas which are resistant to diet and exercise. In this case, the patients may want to consider the revision liposuction where the patient can achieve more dramatic results.
Know that after the surgery has been performed, there will be swelling and bleeding which may result in scar formation on the inside. You might say that the scar will only be a little one because it is just a result of the incisions where the cannula was inserted. This is not true because you will still have scar formation inside your body. This is why the incision area is inflamed, swollen and feels hard. You need to wait at least 6 months before you can do another liposuction in order for your tissue to have sufficient time to heal. In a span of 6 months, the body will heal from the trauma. Never try to undergo another procedure especially if you are not fully healed because it will increase the risk and complication. 6 months is the most common recovery period. It would be better if you will follow what your surgeon will tell you.
