Hip asymmetry after hourglass hip procedure

Hi, this is Dr. Hourglass, and welcome to another video in our channel Superhourglass. Today we are going to discuss: Hip Asymmetric after hourglass hip procedures. In this channel, we will discuss everything you need to know for you to get the hourglass shape you’ve always wanted.
Welcome back! The hourglass hip procedure is an effective and reliable plastic surgery procedure to achieve the most revered female body shape of all times, i.e. the hourglass body. The intervention has a good record of delivering impressive outcomes. However, just like all other plastic surgery procedures, there is never a guarantee that the procedure would deliver you impeccable results.
There are several factors and dynamics to achieving the hourglass figure with the hourglass hip procedure. The surgery involves removal of the excess fat from your body areas like the abdomen, sides, and flanks and transfer of the fat to your hips and butts. As a result, the waist becomes slimmer, the hips appear wider, and the butts look fuller.
The procedure is not free of risks and complications. One of the aesthetic complications that may occur after the hourglass hip procedure is asymmetry of the hips. Hip asymmetry is an aesthetic problem whereby the hips are shaped differently, or one of the hips is bigger or wider than the other.
Hip asymmetry occurs when the plastic surgeon fails to pay attention to detail and lacks the required aesthetic sense and artistry to sculpt the female body into the hourglass shape. It may also occur if the fat extraction, fat processing, and/or fat grafting is done carelessly and majority fat cells are dead or injured.
It can also happen as a result of the carelessness of the patient during the recovery period. For example, if the patient applies undue pressure on the one or both hips during the first three weeks following the operation, chances are the fat grafts would be damaged, which will ultimately lead to hip asymmetry. You also need to be aware that hips are similar not the same.
In order to correct hip asymmetry after the hourglass hip procedure, you would be required to undergo a revision surgery. During the intervention, additional fat would be grafted into the hip that is narrow or poorly contoured. If your body lacks excess fat for the revision surgery, which occurs in rare cases, the plastic surgeon may recommend you hip implant.
However, you must wait for at least eight weeks after the hourglass hip procedure to see the final results. If the results fail to transpire even after eight weeks, you may consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon and consider a revision surgery. After the revision surgery, your hips would become balanced, both in terms of size and contour.
